How to manage food poisoning

Food poisoning is caused by parasites, viruses, bacteria, toxins, and is one of the most serious diseases that reach people. The most common viruses can cause food poisoning is Staphylococcus, e. coli and salmonella. The pain is even more acute in young children as their immune systems are not strong enough to fight against these parasites and also because children do not have much sense of what they should and should not eat. Pregnant woman also face great danger from eating poisoning.


When someone eating contaminated food, starting with acute poisoning pain in the stomach. Then followed by diarrhea, stomach cramps, vomiting and high fever. Mainly vomiting is the main symptom to look out for. If any member of the family begins vomiting for a few hours after eating something, it can be a symptom of food poisoning. There are also other symptoms very weak or rapid pulse, cold, pale, clammy skin, shallow breathing, chest pain, temperature, dry mouth, sticky saliva, dizziness, fatigue, etc.


If someone close to you complain about these problems, you must call the doctor at once. Most people do not take food poisoning seriously and thus suffer more. mortality goes up.


After poisoning strikes, that the victim has a lot of water or some hydrating solution. If your child is involved, take him/her to the pediatrician immediately especially if he vomits or starts showing signs of dehydration. In bloody diarrhea, it is advisable not to give any anti-US drugs to the child as it can make them sicker. Try to keep him calm and distract him to ensure that neither he nor no one around him, panics. Severe poisoning may require hospitalization. So be prepared for it too.
